"Each Year on the 20th of May,
I declare Eliza Doolittle day!"
~The King of England in Eliza's dream
I wish you all a Happy Eliza Doolittle Day. So as I sit here watching this fabulous classic and eating my Late Night Snack Ben & Jerry's ice cream, I wish you a little bit of luck to get to the church on time, have lots of chocolate for you to eat, and have a loverly night.
Here's to all the fl'wr girls! (Though some of them may sound ghastly)
Love ya, mean it!

Cahill Chaos. Organized Chaos. Chaos that keeps us on our toes and NEVER makes life boring. Chaos that teaches us patience and how to love. Chaos that reminds us that our Peace only comes from the Lord--well at least that is the goal.

Surprised by Sister
We were feeding the boys when the door bell rang. Naturally, I went to go answer it and all the Luke could think was 'Oh my goodness; is Angela getting murdered?' No, actually, our dear friend Sister Maris Stella, was at the door, and let's just say I freaked out a bit. She (we!) was blessed to have a surprise home stay, and I am so grateful for the quality time we were able to spend with her. Words can not express how wonderful it was. We were able to see her quite a few times, and each time there was such great conversation and encouragement. She is such a blessed witness to the love of Jesus.
Highlights of her stay:
~Being surprised by her!
~Meeting Torin for the first time! yes, it took them 8 months to finally meet, but it was so wonderful when it happened!
~Seeing why God was having us wait for Sara and Peyton to get engaged (congrats-yay!)---because then ALL five (Sister, Luke, Sara, Peyton and I) could celebrate the new news together. Seriously, I was almost hyperventilating because I was so excited and had to remind myself to breathe and swallow. It was pretty intense. Ask me sometime to hear the long version of the story. I was just blown away at how much the Lord blest us.
~Hearing (and reminded) about how God answers prayers. Her order lives off of Divine Providence--they fully rely on God's provision for everything. He answers them in His OWN time and His OWN way.
Though it is hard not seeing her, I know she is following God's call, and we are so proud of her! Thank you, Sister Maris Stella for your friendship and your witness. We love you!

Mother's Day: A New Perspective
As mother's day approached, I was getting excited about what that meant--thanking our mothers for life, and getting pampered! We had these great plans of having brunch at Luke's parents and perhaps going to the Rose Gardens and meeting my family there, and I wouldn't have to change ANY diapers!
Well, things change when you have a little boy with strep. And I have to say it wasn't necessarily change for the worse, just change. Today I learned that not only do I need to thank our mothers for life, but I need to thank the FATHER for life. Wait, the Father? Well, He was the one that allowed me to be a mother. If it were not for the two amazing and beautiful boys that we have, I would not have the privilege of having that title. So this Mother's Day, I took pride (and action) in actually being a mom, and being grateful that I have Lachlan and Torin, and that I get to be their Mom! What a beautiful gift that is. And though pampering may be nice (Luke actually took really good care of me today in honor of the boys, even though we were house bound today--thank you, Honey!), being with my boys on this day is what it is all about.
Thanks Mom and Mom for life! And thanks Mom and Mom and Mother Mary for all your prayers.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers and Godmothers out there!

Who's your favourite?
We had fun at the dinner table the other night talking with Lachlan. We decided to ask him a few questions to learn more about him, so we asked him about his favorites. This is what we found out.
Who is your favorite baseball player?
Dada (he was proud of that one!)
Who is your favorite pop star?
Jesus
Who is your favorite musician?
Lucia (a friend)
Who is your favorite golfer?
Lachlan
Who is your favorite singer?
Mama
Who is your favorite brother?
Torin
Who is your favorite uncle?
Michael
Who is your favorite auntie?
Aunti Emi
Note: For those Aunties and Uncles that he did not mention, please do not take this personally, for just remember who he lives with and sees quite frequently. ; ) (and there's always his brother!)

Do the Easter Dance!
In honor of the Easter season, I wanted to share with you the Easter Dance...just in case you would like to join in with these two cuties. (I did quickly pan the lovely blue sky just to prove that it can happen.)
