Sweet Sayings:I can do it!

We got creative this year on the 4th of July because this BabyMama did not want to endure the heat, so we went where everygood American goes-the Mall of America!  I don't think we bought a thing (minus some cool drinks), but we had a nice time wandering around and enjoying the Air Conditioning.  One stop was the Barnes and Noble book store, where they have a train set in the kids section.  We spent some time there, and Toring found a book by Eric Carle, From Head to Toe, that we have at home.  He would do the action, and then say 'I can do it' in his sweet little voice.  Totally can't understand what he is saying, but still pretty sweet!
I can do it!
Thanks, Old Navy for the fun balloons!

THEN we went to the Auntie's house (they live on the 27th floor in Kellog Square) to swim, eat dinner, and stay up waaay late to watch the fire works.  on the 27th floor.  in the air conditioning.  A pregnant woman's DREAM!

Pool Time with Grampa
Watching the many fire works shows waaay off in the distance.

Glow sticks!

Fun with Forts

Now that the weather has been so amazing, we can access our sunrrom again.  Normally during the summer it just becomes a sauna, minus the hot rocks!  Lachlan had the great idea to build a fort, so we went with his lead, and I tried to assemble the best fort I could.  It's not really fancy, but it did the job!  After eating dinner OUTSIDE (we have been doing that quite a bit lately, after 'hibernating' in our house all of July) the whole fam took a trip into the fort.  Oh how grateful I am for this weather!

Oh but the fort fun didn't just stop at our house. My brother, James, has a Spiderman tent that the 3 of them have been enjoying. And the last day we saw Auntie Rara, (my sister Sarah is going to Madagascar for a year-please keep her in your prayers.  She will be living in Fort dauphin--haha!  How appropriate.) They had FUN in the tent as well! (One of these days I will learn how to embed correctly...it's not working for me, so we resort to the good ol' link)

Auntie Rara loves doing the 'Dada Smile'

We will miss you HEAPS, Auntie Rara!  Know we are praying for you.  The boys (and especially Baby) are excited to receive their real, live lemur when you return in July.
